• Share Lt. Melissa’s letter with your family, friends and colleagues and tell them they can help make a difference.
• Tell your local schools about the program and help them set up a “Pen Pal” program, collect school supplies and donations to ship them to Lt. Melissa for distribution

Schools, Libraries and Youth Organizations...

• Send copies of Lt. Melissa’s letter home with your kids.
• Create a “Pen Pal” program and start writing letters to kids in Afghanistan.
• Set up collection boxes for donations of supplies and money to ship the supplies.

Libraries

• Save those text books you can’t use or sell then set up donation can to help cover the cost of shipping.
• Set up a youth program to learn about Afghanistan and
• Create a “Pen Pal” program for kids.

Service Organizations and Clubs...

• Share Lt. Melissa’s letter with your members and other clubs.
• Donate funds to help schools and individuals ship supplies to Lt. Melissa and her team.
